Trap Of Karma

Before you read the article, kindly note that I am not an English speaking person.  I am not familiar with colloquial language. Hence I request you to pay attention to the content of communication, and not to language proficiency. Purpose of presentation in English, is to approach the maximum number of personnel, around the world.

Actions of Physical Body (स्थूलदेह), are broadly divided under two categories.

1. Unintentional Acts:

Body activities, which are automatically operated by basic operating system (OS), these acts operate Body Systems, namely Blood circulation system, Respiratory system, Digestive system, Drainage systems etc.

2. Intentional Acts:

Actions executed by physical body, intentionally, under full control of Mind. Actions under this category, get registered as Karma (कर्म&).  Mind decides, what to do. And then executes the decided action through organs of Physical Body. During the actual action, mind controls the activity, using it’s feedback looped control system.

Each & every intentional act of Physical Body, starts from back stage, invisible, mental activity. Group of Instruments/ which carryout internal activities within the body are termed as (अंतःकरण). This set of instruments is mounted on Subtle Body (सूक्ष्मदेह).  Five basic action organs of Physical Body perform visible activities, externally. This group of organs is called (बाह्यकरण).

Backstage internal activity:-

This is the starting point. This internal activity, which is responsible for set of activities of Physical Body, gets registered as a Karma Record. Physical activity is not registered.  Internal mental activity is registered.  Hence internal activity is of utmost importance.

Members, involved in internal process:-

• Mind/ a faculty of Antahkran (मन/अंत:करणाचा एक प्रभाग):-

Mind is like a display and interfacing device of a computer. Mind displays reflections of happenings in Inner-mind (चित्त). This display can be felt or observed or sensed by Physical Body. Mind does the job of signal interfacing between Subtle Body (सूक्ष्मदेह), and Physical Body (स्थूलदेह). Input and output instruments (दशेन्द्रिय) are connected to  mind through signal converters (तन्मात्रा).

• Inner mind (चित्त):-

Inner mind (चित्त), is like a microprocessor/ central processing unit (CPU). Inner mind (चित्त) has a bluetooth like device, which is a cordless communication link focussed towards Causal Body (कारणदेह).

Data storage memory registers of Inner mind store

1. Individualised data related to personal experiences, impressions registered during current lifespan.
2. preloaded thinking tendency (स्वभाव),
3. modified thinking tendency (स्वभाव), currently in use
4. original thinking pattern/ mind-set (धारणा)
5. Revised thinking pattern/,mind-set (धारणा), currently in use.
6. Materialistic knowledge collected and registered, during current life span.
7. Reserved area for Ready Reckoner Memory called Dharana (धारणा).

Data from Ready Reckoner Memory registers is being referred, during action deciding thought process.

Inner mind  has capability to receive data related to knowledge about eternal universal truths in form of Intuition (अंतःप्रेरणा), through communication channel, called (प्रज्ञा).  Normally Ego throttles/ chokes the channel, on account of strong feeling of independent individual identity.

• Intellect (बुध्दी):-

Intellect (बुध्दी) is an independent preloaded program of Innermind. Intellect (बुध्दी) has mainly three types of sub programs, viz. Logical Intellect (तर्क) Imagination (कल्पनाशक्ती) and deciding intellect (सतअसतविवेक बुध्दी).  This faculty is  operative only in case of a human body. It is not operative in any other variety of Physical Body. This is a speciality of human body, which opens path way towards GOD. This faculty makes the human body a special high-end version.

• Ego (अहंकार):-

Ego acts like a General Manager, having power of attorney from Soul. Ego authorises each action by Physical Body, on behalf of Soul, accepting full responsibility of the deed. Ego defines Soul as doer / Karta (कर्ता).

• Causal Body (कारणदेह):-

Causal Body works as data storage cold room, which preserves data related to unsatisfied desires (एषणा), unsatisfied wishes (इच्छा), unsatisfied pleasures (वासना). This data has been collected during numerous previous births, right from the time of separation from GOD , holding independent identity as Soul. Data quantum is huge and is stored in compressed encoded format (बीजांशस्वरूप). This Bank of Desires is the starting point of Psychological process.

• Soul (जिवात्मा) :-

Soul (जिवात्मा) is the deemed owner of Complete Body System. He has assumed Body as his identity. He is  convinced, that every action executed by Body is done by him. He readily accepts ownership of the act. He is therefore responsible for the action and is liable to face the consequences.

Back stage Psychological Process:-

1. One by one, the desires stored in Bank of Desires, on Causal Body (कारणदेह), become active. Activation of desire takes place on account of any one of the two reasons
   • Unsatisfied desire on its own generating activation stimulus
   • Quota of Consequential results of previous deeds, fate (प्रारब्ध), allotted for current lifespan. This works as per predefined plan, on basis of elapsed time.
2. Active desire is shot at bluetooth receiver of Inner mind (चित्त). Intensity of desire reflects in signal strength. Frequency of repetition of signal expresses urgency. Inner mind (चित्त) is thus constantly bombarded, by several desires.
3. Signal, thus received from Causal Body (कारणदेह), by Inner mind(चित्त) is called (चित्तवृत्ति).
4. Inner mind(चित्त) prepares a processing file based on (चित्तवृत्ति), for further processing and execution. This file is called (चित्तप्रवृत्ति).
5. With help of Intellect (बुद्धी), Inner mind (चित्त) analyses the case from all possible angles, based on the current thinking pattern (धारणा), referring to the data from its own memory, + knowledge stored in memory registers in order to decide about the action. Sometimes, when it is unable to decide, Intellect (बुद्धी) expands the thought chain, using it’s capabilities and tries to conclude upon a decision.  In case if  (विवेक) is active,  Innermind & Intellect, both together can request for a knowledge reference data from Soul, through communication link (प्रज्ञा), in form of Intuition (अंत:प्रेरणा).  In case if Ego is strong, communication link  remains choked and no Intuition is available for reference.  Even if Knowledge data is received or not, Innermind  (चित्त) has to take a decision. Intellect is free to decide, whether to follow the suggestions of Chittavrutti (चित्तवृत्ति), or not to follow, or execute some other action.  Intellect may or may not consider Intuitive  reference while deciding upon the final recommendations. After noting down the recommendation on file (चित्तप्रवृत्ती), it is sent to Ego for authorisation.
6. Ego (अहंकार) authorises or rejects the action and sends the file back to Innermind (चित्त) for execution. Ego may or may not take Soul into confidence , while deciding.
7. Innermind (चित्त) prepares the order , if authorised , and transmits the same to Mind (मन) for execution.
8. On receipt of order, Mind (मन) transfers the order to respective Output Instrument (कर्मेन्द्रिय). Output Instrument (कर्मेन्द्रिय) then issues commands for individual muscles/ components of the concerned organ of Physical Body (स्थूलदेह) and communicates further.
9. Organ or organs of Physical Body (स्थूलदेह) operate accordingly, to execute the task. Sensory Organs (ज्ञानेन्द्रिय) sense status of order execution and send feedback to Innermind (चित्त), through Mind. Thus using feedback looped commands, the authorised action is completed.  Control is fully monitored by Mind (अंत:करण चातुष्ट्य), and not by Physical Body (स्थूलदेह).
10. If action is completed successfully, a report is sent by Mind (मन) to Innermind (चित्त). In case if problem is faced in completing the order, a report of Situation and status is sent by Mind (मन) to Innermind (चित्त) for reconsideration and reauthorisation. In such case whole process of decision making is repeated. Reconsideration is effected only after reauthorisation.
11. Further Action will be executed only on basis of reauthorized revised order. Thus Physical Body (mLetueosn) performs each action under leadership of Ego (अहंकार), controlled by Mind (मन).
12. After completing action, each case file with feedback notes is then transferred to Bank of Karma, located on Causal Body, through contact less communication link, for cold storage. Thus full history of event of each deed is recorded for liability along with ownership consequences (कर्मफल). This process is online & fully automatic. Hence data cannot be edited before recording. Man does not have direct access to this data storage on Causal Body (कारणदेह).

Trap of Karma Record (कर्मबंधन):-

Soul is deemed owner of Body system. Soul (जीवात्मा) has assumed ownership of complete body system. Right from birth, he identifies himself as the Body. He therefore becomes owner of each and every deed executed by body system (कर्म). Under influence of Ego (अहंकार),  Soul takes up full responsibility of the act of Physical Body (स्थूलदेह), saying that I have done it. Thus he assumes ownership of the act.  He is then liable to face the consequences. Thus he becomes (कर्मफल भोक्ता). Soul has given power of attorney to Ego (अहंकार). He is supposed to know full details of back stage activities also.  So it is taken for granted that the deed has been executed with his full knowledge and concurrence. He is therefore (ज्ञाता) of complete deed.  All deeds are therefore booked as deeds done by Soul, in Bank of Karma. Soul therefore has to be present at the time of facing the consequences. When will this event be, only GOD and his controlling system officials  know.  Acute and grave deeds deliver consequences in the current life span. However majority of deeds become ripe to deliver consequences, in subsequent rebirths.

Total quantum of data storage, which is accumulated over several births, is very huge. It is necessary to nullify all records, in order to stop rebirth cycle.  Man simply cannot imagine , as to how many life spans are needed to nullify all records.

Soul is thus trapped, on account of his own deeds. This trap is called (कर्मबंधन). He can not escape from consequences and therefore from rebirths.

Bank Balance Analysis:-

Credit(पुण्यकर्म) and debit (पापकर्म) balances are never adjusted. Soul has to face consequence (कर्मफल) of each record independently. Each record gets deleted/ nullified only after facing the related consequences.

Havoc played by desires :-

In case if a desire remains unsatisfied, even after execution of deed, Desire record does not get deleted/ nullified. It remains reregistered as unsatisfied desire. In case if a desire is satisfied, feeling of pleasure induces Mind to demand more. This more, not being quantified, the result is registered as multiple unsatisfied desires. Thus every satisfied desire generates multiple new desires. This way the accumulation of unsatisfied desires goes on swelling, during every lifespan. Each unsatisfied desire will invoke deed. With each executed deed, quantum of records in Bank of Karma inflate. Thus during every rebirth life span, Balance in both Banks keeps on inflating, instead of reducing. Thus Soul gets more and more entangled in the Karma Trap (कर्मबंधन). Eventually, he cannot escape from cycle of rebirths.

Soul (जीवात्मा) cannot get freedom unless balance in both Banks becomes Zero. To achieve this, is next to impossible. But not impossible. 

If one tries to correlate his own status w.r.t. this trap, he is sure to get frightened, since he is aware of the agonies of each life span. Do not be afraid of this trap. Do not carry any tension. Fear will increase confusion. Confusion will halt thinking. One can wisely manipulate his New Karmas, after understanding intricacies of the trap. There are several ways and means to get released from rebirth cycle. Many experienced saints have guided various souls on path of salvation in the past. Today also many such Saints are active. There is no shortage of such saints in India. However one has to search himself, to find a suitable proper guide. One needs to work for that.

Some people claim that they do not believe in theory of rebirth. One may believe it or not, the information narrated in earlier pages is based on the facts. Facts do not depend upon belief. They remain as they are. I believe it strongly and I am convinced. Currently research is being done on theory of rebirth, worldwide. Lot of videos are avilable on Youtube, they claim to provide proffs of reincarnation.

Purpose of this explanation is only to make the reader aware of gravity of the trapped situation and complexity of trap. It is expected that reader will at least start taking interest in the subject and allots working priority to  the related tasks.
